Dr Katja Bier is the owner of Twisted Whiskers, as well as a practicing veterinarian and lecturer. Katja and her hubby Peter are parents to three dogs - two ridgebacks called Thandi and Gidhima, and Romeo, their charming whippet. They are also owned by nine cats: Merlin, Bugsy, Tigger, Karma, Mia, Sanuk, Dharma, BC and Tinks.

After spending 12 years in the hospitality industry, taking care of guests in the luxury 5 star division and on the international stage, Elmien decided to continue with her passion in the service industry, but to exchange her two legged guests for four legged ones. Elmien has had previous experience in the vetshop industry and now has the pleasure of taking care of all our customers and their valued pets that visit our Spa. Elmien and husband Andrew are the proud owners of two English Bulldogs named Hamish and Lilly and two cats named Bella and Sassi.

Andries is a skilled groomer, whose easy-going, friendly and constantly positive approach to the animals results in them relaxing completely while in his care.

For Reginah, dogs and cats are friends - they listen and just give love back to you. She loves working at Twisted Whiskers because of the way dogs and cats are treated with love and respect. As a junior groomer, she is hungry for further skills and knowledge and has been particularly touched by how our furry clients have crept into her heart.

Clement chauffeurs our furry clients in his air-conditioned pet limo, and his warm, cheerful approach wins over even the fiercest dogs.

Dorah has a deep love for animals and feels that she has found her calling as a groomer.
